## Overview

LLM for Mac is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no forms, no comments, no advertising, and no analytics. This page lists every way a visit can expose data, based on how the site is built.

## No analytics, no cookies

The site's build configuration has analytics turned off. The site sets no cookies and loads no tracking or advertising scripts. Fonts are served from llmformac.com itself, not from a font service.

## Preferences stored in your browser

A few interface choices are saved in your browser's local storage so they persist between pages. They never leave your device and are not sent to the site:

- `theme`: light or dark mode, saved when you use the theme toggle.
- `fileTree`: which folders are open in the page explorer.
- `explorerScrollTop`: the explorer's scroll position, kept in session storage and cleared when the tab closes.

You can clear these at any time from your browser's site data settings.

## Hosting: GitHub Pages

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes ([About GitHub Pages, data collection](https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/about-github-pages#data-collection)). GitHub's handling of that data is covered by the [GitHub General Privacy Statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement). LLM for Mac does not receive or keep those logs.

## Third-party request: jsDelivr

Every page loads two files from cdn.jsdelivr.net: the KaTeX stylesheet (`katex.min.css`) and the KaTeX copy-tex script (`copy-tex.min.js`), version 0.16.11. They format math notation. Your browser therefore sends a request to jsDelivr, which receives your IP address, browser user agent, and the usual request headers. ## Links to other sites

Pages link to primary sources such as Apple, Hugging Face model cards, and vendor docs, and to the sister site llmhardwareguide.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them unless you follow a link.
